After many bouts of cancer, Charter President, Mary Lank, had a vision to help others who were facing the same tough road that she traveled.

The Heart~n~Hands Sertoma Club was formed in 2005 when neighbors and friends joined Mary in her quest to make that road smoother for others in our community by offering moral support and help with day-to-day needs.

​

In the first year, there were more than 100 families requesting support throughout much of Central PA.  Recognizing the need in their community, members of Sertoma joined together to create the Carlisle Hearts~n~Hands Sertoma Club to the support the Carlisle area in 2007.
