We here at Hearts ~n~ Hands understand that a life-threatening diagnosis affects the people close to the patient as much as the actual patient, so we are dedicated to assisting not only the cancer patient, but the family, friends, and caregivers of the patient. Our hands on services are provided locally in the central PA area. However, we assess each case individually and have been able to help assist several clients in the surrounding counties.

Our members are local volunteers, many of whom are either cancer survivors themselves, or have been touched by a cancer diagnosis of a loved one. They assist by sending thoughtful notes, accompanying our clients to difficult appointments, tending daily chores, and relating their own experiences.
